David Benyamine Success Story and Tragedy

Playing high-stakes poker against some of the most powerful players of the game in the world comes with a heavy price. When you're up, you may be way up, but coming down is a meteor journey straight to the bottom that you can sometimes never recover from effectively. And this is exactly what happened to David Benyamine, not once but repeatedly. As a high-stakes poker player and No Limit Hold'Em player, David annihilated all comers in online poker rooms and casinos such as those sites that you visit every day, acquiring millions of dollars and tucking away a respectable bankroll in the process. David lived the life of wealth and excess with a beautiful and stunning girlfriend on his arm and a fantastic lifestyle in Las Vegas and the surrounding community and anywhere he wanted to go. Playing poker and winning hands for hours and hours online as well as in Vegas seem to be the perfect life for anyone that might be a gaming and gambling enthusiast and David certainly was.

But in the last few months David has done poorly, dropping tremendous amount of money in the big games that were held in Las Vegas concurrently with the poker world series as well as losing tremendous amounts of money in the high-stakes game on online casinos and poker rooms and rumor has it that David is actually in debt to other players, but these are of course only rumors. David now plays smaller tables for lower payouts and lower investments and wagering rather than the massive high investments that he used to play for. This effort to rebuild his bankroll is predicated on winning small hands frequently more so than large hands with so much risk involved. These high-risk hands, as David has no doubt learned can be deadly to the player and their career. Simply because one has a tremendous bankroll doesn't mean that they should take a lot of risk with it, as this is the very foundation of their living and surviving in the modern world of poker and the high-stakes world competition.

Playing the minimum over multiple tables with a secure bankroll and be responsible enough to put back a significant portion of your proceeds into off-line investments is just a sensible approach when playing for high stakes at poker and other games of chance. While anyone can win and win big, anyone can also lose and that event must be prepared for as well.
