Disappointed from not winning the European Poker Tour, poker pro plans to take a break from live poker.

World Series of Poker winner Annette_15 says she has plans to take a small break from playing live. The 19-year-old Norwegian took the poker world by storm when she won the Main Event in London in September, coming close to clinching another major title in Dublin last week.

Obrestad commented that she felt disappointed with herself and expected to win the tournament. The poker pro dominated the final table of the EPT event; her luck did not hold out however against fellow player Reuben Peters, losing on the final hand when she called with pocket sevens on a ten-high flop. Peters A-T claimed the EPT Dublin champion.

She takes home a €297,800 prize check; far below the £1,000,000 she won in the WSOP. Obrestad looks forward to spending some time in her home town, where she plans to buy a house with her mother.

The vacation does not mean however that she will be entirely away from the poker action; according to her own words “When I’m home, I usually play online poker for 40-50 hours a week.”
