Full Tilt Poker has announced the
introduction of the Mini Series of Poker, a series of online poker tournaments which
will be running parallel to the 2008 WSOP. The main difference is that the MSOP
at Full Tilt will feature buy-ins equivalent to one hundredth of the actual World Series of Poker in Las
Vegas. The announcement comes only a few days after BodogLife Poker released a press
note in where they state having the same intentions.
The Full Tilt MSOP will
kick off on May 30th and will run from until July 5th,
the online poker tournament series will feature a total of 54 events open for
all online poker players (the casino ladies' event and Seniors event have been
changed to open-style events because of the online format and the casino
employee event has been nixed).
Every event winner will get
a special-edition Full
Tilt champion's watch plus the prize money. Players can even win a seat
into the 2009 WSOP Main Event by scaling positions at the MSOP leaderboard and
finishing positioned among the top 10.
Full Tilt has plenty of $15+$1.50 No-Limit Hold'em events available for players with limited bankrolls but there is also a $500+$35 H.O.R.S.E. event for those looking to play something a little more exciting. FullTilt.com MSOP will feature a total of over $700,000 in guaranteed prize money, so there is definitely serious money to be made in the recently introduced MSOP at FullTiltPoker.com.
