PokerStars Players dominate the 2008 WSOP Main Event final table.

Six PokerStars.com players have outlasted a field of 6844 players and made it to the final table of the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event and now have the chance to play for the $9,119,517 first prize. Every one of the nine final table players will be awarded with at least $1 million in prize money when they come back to Las Vegas to finish the Main Event final table on November 9th, 2008.

The "PokerStars Million Dollar Men" are:

Dennis Phillips:  53 years old from Missouri, U.S. Current chip leader with 26,295,000 chips.

Ivan Demidov:  27years old from Moscow, Russia. Second position in the chip count with 24,400,000.

Peter Eastgate: 22 years old from Odense, Denmark. He will enter the final table with 18,375,000 chips.

Ylon Schwarz: 38 years old from New York, U.S. He will enter the final table with 12,525,000 chips.

Darus "Dennis_TO" Suharto: 39 years old from Ontario, Canada. He will enter the final table with 12,520,000 chips.

David "Chino" Rheem:  28 years old from California, U.S. He will enter the final table with 10,230,000 chips.

The 2008 WSOP has been extremely successful for PokerStars players, over one thousand PokerStars qualifiers participated in the 2008 World Series Main Event and 123 Poker Stars players have cashed at this year's event, scoring over $9 million.

"The break in play will make for a different dynamic at the final table, build more excitement for the sport, and allow the public to better understand the personalities of the players. The benefit to the PokerStars Million Dollar Men of being with us is that these 6 players will have the support, skill and knowledge of Team PokerStars behind them, a team already featuring 3 World Series Main Event Champions. I think we have a great chance to bring the WSOP title back to PokerStars for another year." said Chris Moneymaker, Team PokerStars Pro and 2003 WSOP Champion.
