Poker Stars.com is moving for the Caribbean islands again next year with its most recent edition of the Caribbean Adventure tournament, scheduled to kick off on January 4th, 2009 at the magnificent Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas.

The event is part of the European Poker Tour regardless of its location, however, the EPT said that even when the tournament is listed as part of the tour, it is not on the official list of EPT events.
Last year's Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure brought over a thousand players, generating a prize pool of more than $8.5 million. It caught the attention of several poker pros.

PokerStars has also announced the inclusion of a new stop in European Poker Tour in Budapest, Hungary. This will be a 4 350 euros buy-in, four day No Limit Texas Hold’em for a maximum of 500 players, and the venue is the city's Las Vegas Casino in the Sofitel Hotel from October 28th to November 1st 2008. The new addition brings the number of EPT official event up to 10.

To make things a lot easier and maybe cheaper for EPT travelers, the site has launched EPT Hotels.com, a new feature in where players can find the necessary hotel booking discounts and information.

In addition to the poker frenzy created in London this year by Poker in the Park and the WSOP Europe tournament, Poker Stars' EPT London stop will feature a special No Limit Hold’em event for high rollers called the "PokerStars.com EPT 1 Million Pound Showdown." scheduled on October 5th and 6th.
