888.com today confirmed that poker ambassador and former first class Australian cricketer legend Shane Warne will be taking part at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) event in London representing the PacificPoker.com and 888.com brand. The World Series of Poker Europe takes place from the September 19^th to October 2^nd, at famous Empire Casino at Leicester Square, London, with the £10,000 Main Event schedule on Saturday, September 27^th at 1:00pm.

"I'm really looking forward to going to the WSOPE in London and just hope I can play as well as I did in Las Vegas. I'm really enjoying my poker and the intensity of Vegas should hopefully stand me in great stead for London and the televised 888 Poker Open in November." Warne said.

After a great debut at the World Series of Poker main event in Las Vegas in July, Warne will be hoping to take that form forward into the main European event on the professional circuit.
