Online poker site, Everest Poker, has announced that for the first time since the Everest Poker European Cup was launched, the tournament’s Finale, which is expected to gather a field of 200 poker players from all over Europe, will be held at the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Italy. Players and guests will have the opportunity to stay in the 5-star Chia Laguna Resort on the white sandy south west coast, considered to be one of the most stunning beach locations in Europe, all courtesy of EverestPoker.

The EPEC is completely free to enter and has been running since 2006, the tournament was specifically designed to offer beginners their first live poker experience. The EPEC is the easiest way for Europeans to catch up with all the action while they interact with other participants, and play for one of 200 places at the Finale in Sardinia.

The Everest Poker European Cup kicked off last week and will feature over a dozen live events held in 11 locations all over Europe. The live qualifiers started in Milan, Italy on Wednesday, November 19th with a capacity of 80 but with 102 players registering extra places were added to give everybody a chance. The qualifiers will keep running this week in Hungary, Belgium, Switzerland, as well as Bologna in Italy.
