Leading online poker site FullTiltPoker.com has recently announced that it has reached a new agreement to sponsor the Poker Million, one of the largest poker tournaments in Europe and televised on Sky Network in the UK. According to several poker news sites, Full Tilt, which has sponsored and hosted many poker shows around the world, including the Million Dollar Cash Game, signed a multiyear contract with the show producers to begin sponsoring the show scheduled to take place at the Sky Sports Studios in London on July 15th.

"We are excited to take one of Europe's most prestigious tournaments forward with Full Tilt Poker. There was no shortage of interest in capturing the title rights to this event and with Full Tilt's impressive list of sponsored pros, viewers can expect the strongest Poker Million line-up yet." said Eddie Hearn, Director of Matchroom Sport.

Several Full Tilt Poker pros are expected to play at this year’s event. Team Full Tilt player Roland de Wolfe said he’s really excited about this new sponsorship agreement, which according to him, will open the door for many U.S players and increase the tournament’s exposure around the world.

"Full Tilt and Poker Million together, it's like my best mate marrying my sister," said De Wolfe. "I am excited to see my pals from the States, Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson – the top boys from the best poker-only site in Britain's finest knockout poker event, and after I've knocked them out I'll take them around the sights of London."
