Online poker sites Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker have introduced a new software update that brings two changes that are sure to please players on the CEREUS Poker Network and enhance their online poker experience. Today's CEREUS software release introduces the major new feature Synchronized Breaks to their Multi-Table Tournaments, and provides a fix to the way the RAISE button works.
The first improvement is a new Synchronized Break feature that will give customers playing Multi-Table Tournaments a 5-minute break at the 55th minute of every hour. For example, if a tournament with the Synchronized Breaks feature kicks off at 11:30 ET, the tournament will go on break at 11:55 ET. Multi-tournament players can make informed selection of events to enter by checking them first in the tournament lobby to see if they have Synchronized Breaks enabled.
The second change implemented by UltimateBet and AbsolutePoker is a 'RAISE TO' button that allows players to raise to a certain amount without having to subtract their initial bet that is already on the table. This feature eliminates the pressure on a player to do mental sums on-the-spot, and raising a bet is now a two-step process, instead of three. Simply enter the amount you wish to raise to and click the RAISE TO button.
