Allen Cunningham Biography

Allen Cunningham was born in 1977 in Riverside, California.

At the age of 12 he had already discovered his skills as a poker player.

He was studying Civil Engineering at UCLA, when he started playing poker seriously in a small Casino, dreaming of sharing the same table at big–time tournaments with the legends of poker.

The beginnings weren't easy though, and he took some beatings. Nevertheless he always came back and tried harder until excelling in 1999 when he won six major tournaments and enjoyed the honor of being named "Best All-Around Player" at the Legends of Poker. After all these successes, Allen decided to abandon his studies of Civil Engineering at UCLA.

Since then he has won two World Series bracelets and made final tables at WPT events.

Allen is not only an outstanding poker player, but a great communicator too. This ability took him to Yale University where, with his friend Daniel Negreanu, he held a poker seminary.

Allen Cunningham is one of the greatest young stars of poker. Although he is said to be a very polite person, he is almost impossible to read at tables like a cold dog.
