PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour announces Argentina Grand Final

The PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) announced today that its Season 3 will close on September 22-26, 2010 with a $5,000 buy-in Grand Final at the luxurious City Center Casino in Rosario, Argentina. Located in the charming metropolis of Rosario, City Center, the largest casino in South America, will offer players entering the Latin American Poker Tour season finale event all of the comforts of a modern, five-star hotel.

"This will be the most luxurious and exciting Grand Final in LAPT history. LAPT is thrilled to be partnered with City Center, one of most amazing casino venues in all of Latin America." said LAPT President David Carrion.

PokerStars LAPT today also released the final schedule for the upcoming LAPT Brazil poker festival, to be held from August 4 – August 8, 2010 at the Costao de Santinho Resort in Florianopolis, Brazil. The tournament will offer feature a $2,700 Main Event, plus multiple side events, including a $120 rebuy event with a $45,000 guaranteed prize pool and the first Pot-Limit Omaha event in LAPT history.

"We believe that the Brazil festival will draw one of the biggest fields in LAPT history. We have therefore created a schedule that will cater to the needs and preferences of all players and bankroll levels." added Carrion.

Team PokerStars Pros that have already confirmed their attendance at LAPT Brazil include Victor Ramdin and 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event Champ, Joe Cada. Play will begin on August 4 with two $300 super satellites into the Main Event. Side events will run concurrently with the Main Event from August 5 through August 8.
