• World Poker Tour holding open auditions for new on-air position

The World Poker Tour is holding open auditions for new on-air position and producers are looking for the most brutally honest poker analyst for a new recurring TV segment called "The Raw Deal." So if you're opinionated, fearless, watch and play hours of poker and find yourself offering brilliant insight from the comfort of your couch, it's time for you to take a seat right next to WPT commentators Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten and Kimberly Lansing. Plus, and share the screen with the gorgeous WPT Royal Flush Girls.

The WPT is holding open auditions for the role, and candidates will have two ways to try out. First, candidates can take part in a live audition set to take place at The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles on August 19th, 2010 from 11:00am to 8:00 pm. Participants have to prove they are familiar with the poker lingo and show WPT producers they possess the ability to forcefully press your case through either righteous outrage, edgy charm or your own unique approach.

Candidates can also visit WPT's "Raw Deal" Facebook Page and submit a 45-second video. Friends and fans will be able to vote on each submission, and by the end of the contest, the top 10 vote-getters will go straight to the shortlist for callbacks with World Poker Tour producers. The best online entries will be pitted against the best in-person performances to define who will have a shiny new job offer.

Submissions are open now and close on August 15th at 11:59 p.m. PT.
