PokerStars Macau Poker Cup returns on September 1st

PokerStars Macau Poker Cup is ready to host its quarterly event running from Sept. 1-5 at Casino Grand Lisboa . The series offer players a total of six tournaments, including a charity event that benefiting a local aid organization, as well as live satellites to the flagship Red Dragon tournament scheduled on September 3rd. The tournament is a three-day event with the only regular high buy-in in Asia (HKD $10,000). The event attracts the top players from across the country and all over the world as the prize pool normally exceeds the guarantee of approximately $258,000. Casino Grand Lisboa will be holding satellites to the Red Dragon event beginning Aug. 30 and continuing until Sept. 4.

PokerStars Team Asia, made up of four up-and-coming young local Asia based players, is expected take part in the Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon event in September. The team includes Team Poker Stars Pro Bryan Huang (Singapore), plus Raymond Wu, Tae Jun “Skat tilt” Noh, and Celina Lin, the only female player on the team and winner of the Red Dragon event in July 2009.
