UB.net to host two charity events benefiting Vincent Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer

UB.com is teaming up with NHL Tampa Bay Lightning star Vinny Lecavalier to host two charity events benefiting Vincent Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. The center is one of the largest pediatric cancer units in the state of Florida, and combines cutting edge technology, teaching, and research along with the latest in patient care.

First, UB.net will serve as official sponsor of a live event scheduled to take place at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 10th. The charity tournament will be held at the Derby Lane in St. Petersburg Florida, and will be attended by Team UB players Joe Sebok and Annie Duke. The $550 buy-in event will offer a $100,000 prize pool and will feature more than 40 sports and entertainment celebrities competing for a $20,000 Last Celebrity Standing prize to benefit their own favorite charity.

On September 12th, Ultimate Bet’s will host its monthly Second Sundays charity tournament on benefit of the new Vincent Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. The $10 buy-in event begins at 14:45 ET, and will be hosted by Team UB Pro Joe Sebok. UB will match the funds raised and donate the money to this month’s chosen beneficiary. In addition to the prize pool,m players registering for this tournament will also compete for $2150 in additional prizes.
